catlight TFS

Hi,

I would like to know if CatLight is limited to build events only?

how can I be Sure as a developer that my code is protected and not exposed to you or other third party company?

thanks

Currently, you can configure CatLight to monitor builds and changes in work items. The app does not try to access your source code.

When connecting to TFS, you can provide user credentials to CatLight app. It will have the same level of access as the provided user.

For TFS 2017, you can create a personal access token and use it instead of a password with your user name - https://www.visualstudio.com/en-us/docs/setup-admin/team-services/use-personal-access-tokens-to-authenticate. This access token can have reduced permission set, like read builds/work items.
