CatLight for macOS should support Apple Silicon
CatLight v3.5.1 for macOS is Intel only. it is not a universal app.
Apple completed transitioning to Apple Silicon (ARM) chips in June 2023.
In the past CatLight Support indicated that ARM support is on the product roadmap and requires significant changes to the build infrastructure.

No builds appearing when connected to DevOps using PAT
Connected CatLight to DevOps using PAT. I can select the builds, so the connection is definitely there. But no builds of the ones I selected are appearing in the dashboard lists. Logging shows "Refreshing..." but nothing appears in the UI.

No credentials are available in the security package (Azure DevOps)
If you try to connect to Azure DevOps (TFS) using integrated authentication, in some cases you can get an error in logs - "System.ComponentModel.Win32Exception (0x8009030E): No credentials are available in the security package"
This can happen if a user is a "Protected Users" group member, and integrated Windows authentication is disabled for this user. See Microsoft's KB for more details.
Workarounds (use one of them):
- Add your credentials to the Windows credential manager. Open Windows Control Panel -> Credential Manager. Go to "Windows Credentials" tab, and add the credentials that you use to connect to Azure DevOps server. User Azure

Fix Branches of interest
It would be great if you can fix specific branches within a panel so that those are shown on top of the panel each time.
Right now if there are too many shown I need to type into "Search" the first name in order to check the status, afterwards the 2nd name to check that build status again and so on...
So in case there are many builds running, but less than more are interesting to you (because there are builds from branches from other teams or whatever) you could click a checkbox on each relevant branch.

How do you remove this from DevOps?
This may be a silly question but how do I remove the link from the menu in DevOps? We've decided it's not for us and now I seem to be stuck with a permanent link to CatLight sitting there.

To what information does CatLIght cloud service store?
Hi,
I have come across catlight which suits our current requirement. But there are lot of security related restrictions on using a TPA.
Please find the attachment for the access requested by catlight.
Can you please help me with the following?
Here read access is requested for code and build artifacts, Is this information stored in CatLIght cloud service?
Can you please elaborate more on this? I did come across this question (link), but it doesn't seem to have the complete information when compared with above access requests.

Flashing for broken builds
I don't always notice the change to red in the status bar. It would be nice to have an option to have it flash until acknowledged when a build is broken, so it's more noticeable.

Getting "1 server connection needs configuration"
Diagnostic Report # 40105
When I set up the CatLight Windows app it worked initially. When I closed it and re-opened, I get this message at the top (yellow bar).
Clicking "Review & Fix" shows that server (https://dev.azure.com/osfi-bsif) is returning a 302.
I have 2 OAuth accounts (one is my usual account - [email protected]) and the other is and admin account for ADO. I switch back and forth from time to time in order to do my work. Some other users in our organization also have an admin account on ADO.

What information does CatLight store and process?
CatLight is a desktop application. Most features work locally, and data is retrieved and processed on the computer that runs the app.
There are several collaboration features that require internet access and that interact with a secure CatLight cloud service over an encrypted channel:
- Shared dashboards. When you share a dashboard in the app, the dashboard settings are saved in a CatLight cloud service, so that other users on your team can use it. Dashboard settings include the names and ids of the builds, projects and work item queries, as well as priority rules that you have configured in dashboard

Catlight 3.1.3: Github build is red in Catlight dashboard, when a retry in Github has fixed a previous failed attempt
Hi there Thank you for an overall great app :o) We've discovered what seems to be a bug. When Github fails a step, and a rerun fixes it, Catlight seems to continue reporting the build as having failed
The following pipeline is all green after a few retries
However, Catlight reports it as being red. I presume it is due to looking up only the first attempt
Catlight version is 3.1.3
Can you look into this? Thanks in advance

Can't connect to Azure DevOps
Tried to connect using TFS and my Personal Access Token as the password it's just stuck there with "loading...". Also tried using Azure DevOps with username password and it just can't connect returning unauthorized access.
If the Catlight window goes to the background behind other windows I can't bring it back it doesn't show up on my list of windows so you have to run it again to get it back.

Support new multi-step Azure DevOps pipelines
CatLight already works with build and release pipelines, but a new kind of combined build-deploy pipeline in Azure DevOps should be supported as well.
